DHAROHAR- GTU CENTRE FOR INDIAN KNOWLEDGE SYSTEM (GCIKS)

Gujarat Technological University (GTU) has always been at the forefront of providing useful education to the students as well as doing useful works for the society. In the same direction, GTU has taken a step forward with Bhishma Indic Foundation, Pune and signed a MoU on 24 June, 2021.

'Dharohar-GTU Center for Indian Knowledge System' has been started under the guidance of Honourable Vice Chancellor of GTU Prof. (Dr.) Navin Sheth and Respected Registrar Dr. K. N. Kher. The main objective of this center is to start courses and programs related to Indian culture, Indian philosophy, Indian ideology, Ancient Indian knowledge, Modern Indian cultural philosophy etc.

Under the above MoU, short term certificate as well as diploma courses will be started jointly by the Dharohar Center and Bhishma Indic Foundation. These courses mainly include Ancient Indian Science, Study of Ancient Indian Universities, Vedas and Science, Ancient Indian Arts - Music, Dance, Drama and Drawing, Ancient Indian Trade and Commerce, Study of Ayurveda etc. These courses will be available to those who are interested in the subject as well as individuals involved in any profession as well as students. From time to time the complete information of each course will be made available on the GTU website. Having these courses online will also make it easier to reach a wider class.

Hon'ble Vice Chancellor, Registrar of GTU and Mr. Kshitij Patukul, Founder Director of Bhishma Indic Foundation have sent their best wishes for the success of the courses.
